Laura Colago began her musical studies at the age of five in Gavà (Barcelona).  From the age of eleven she studied the professional degree of music at the Municipal Conservatory of Music of Barcelona with professors Carme Poch and Mercè Molero, graduating with the highest grades and obtaining the Honor Prize for piano. From 2018 to 2022 she studied at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu with professors Daniel Ligorio and José Enrique Bagaría. She finishes her studies once again with the highest grades, thanks to the contribution of the Excellence Scholarship awarded by the Ferrer-Salat Foundation. 

She has been awarded in various competitions, both nationally and internationally, such as the Vilafranca Musical Youth Competition, the King’s Peak International Music Competition, the JPC Musical Performance Competition or the Antoni Besses Competition. She has been invited by the Maria Canals International Music Competition, of great prestige, to play in several Spanish cities. Her concert activity also reaches auditoriums in Germany, Poland and Portugal, such as the Hohhaus Palais in Fulda or the Europejskie Centrum Muzyki Krzysztofa Pendereckiego in Lusławice. She has received many master classes from internationally renowned teachers such as Eugen Indjic, Boris Berman, Dmitri Alexeev, Josep Colom, MªJesús Crespo, Antoni Besses, Uta Weyand, Friedemann Rieger, Markus Schirmer, Noriko Ogawa and Akiko Ebi, among others. 

She is currently continuing his master’s studies at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz (Austria) with Professor Saskia Giorgini and Professor Till Alexander Körber and with the help of the Foundation Scholarship Pedro Pons University.
